He told Premier Boxing: “I’m definitely looking at coming back.

“That’s something we’re trying to figure out and get things done.

“I think this could be a re-boost for my career.”

Wilder added: “It’s not about the finances, I’ll never have to come back to boxing in my life. I’ve got my life sorted.”

SunSport revealed this week that Wilder’s team hope the heavy hitter will return before the end of 2022.

Mathrom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn has claimed a possible fight with Derek Chisora.

Hearn said: “I always talk about the Deontay Wilder fight and people call me out for it.

Following the demolition of Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder is in the midst of comeback talks and feels he must fight 'for the people' once again.

“All of a sudden you start talking about him in fights with Joe Joyce, Daniel Dubose, see what happens with AJ and Oleksandr Usyk.

“Dillian Whyte 3, it’s not the fight I’m looking forward to at the moment, but suddenly if he beats Pulev, Dillian is beating Tyson Fury, why not No3?

“The two fights were two of the best heavyweight fights I’ve ever seen, so No3 will be a cracker as well.

“But it’s all about beating Plow and I think it’s win or retire for both guys.”
