Battery storage is a mess. Too often we throw our stray AAs and 9Vs into a kitchen or home office drawer and then curse ourselves when we need to find them later. Made from a thin sheet of plywood and plexiglass, this dispenser is a quick and easy process to hold the battery you need. Gravity feeds the front battery up so it’s there when you need it. The clear plexiglass provides a visual reference to which batteries are running low, so you can keep each battery slot filled and won’t get stuck in a last-minute run to the store.
The downside to this project is that you need to be vigilant about opening your batteries and refilling the dispenser every time, but that’s a small price to pay to keep all your power cells organized.
