Dead by Daylight Stranger: DbD Stranger Things DLC was canceled in 2021, but current rumors claim it may be resurrected with another DLC containing a new DbD Killer Vecna.
As exciting as it was when Stranger Things’ Dead by Daylight DLC debuted in 2019, it was a sad day when the license expired in 2021 and it was no longer available. Even if the Stranger Things chapter of Dead by Daylight returns in December 2022, Vecna might be the next Dead by Daylight murderer, according to a new report.
The Stranger Things cooperation with the developer of the horror game Behaviour Interactive may be resurrected by Netflix by the end of 2022, according to numerous leakers, including DbDLeaks and FNBIntel.
For those that purchased the Demogorgon killer and the Nancy and Steve Harrington survivors, they are still accessible, however, it would be nice to have the Hawkins Laboratory map back in the rotation. A second Stranger Things story using season 4 villain Vecna as the new killer is also mentioned, which would be interesting to watch.
Netflix may have taken revenge on those who shared this photo since every tweet with this picture has been promptly deleted – potentially by Netflix – making it more likely that this is an in-game model of Vecna.
All of this seems plausible, but keep in mind that it is only a rumor at this time. This is being seen by Fortnite leakers as a fresh indication that there will be a partnership between Fortnite and Dead by Daylight as well. In all circumstances, we’ll have to wait and see.
